  • Opened private practice in 1999
  • Specialization in Forensic Psychology and violent and sexual offender evaluation. 
  • Contracted by the California Department of Mental Health to conduct Sexually Violent Predator evaluations and provide expert witness testimony in civil commitment trials.
  • Clinical work is with children, adolescents, adults, couples, families, and doing psychological evaluations.
Senior Manager, University Community Medical Center - 2002
  • Program Director - Outpatient Psychiatric Services 
  • Provided leadership to an Outpatient Psychiatric Program
  • Developed and added a Partial Hospitalization Program to the services at the hospital
  • Grew the census from 60 to over 100 patients. 
  • Provided oversight for the day to day program activities and managed the evaluation of all staff

Clinical Director: Paradise Valley/Bayview Hospital, 1999-2002
  • Coordinated treatment between psychiatrists, nurses, clinicians and patients
  • Managed of the day to day operations of a 120 patient Outpatient hospitalization facility and Partial Hospitalization Program
  • Responsibilities included the assessment of all admissions to the program, coordination of all discharges, running daily treatment team meetings and the coordination of treatment
  • Responsible for daily clinical supervision, scheduling, program development, management of patient emergencies and assessments including 5150 evaluations as well as frequent reports and follow-up to hospital administration. 
  • Was responsible for periodic documentation review as well as utilization review to insure proper payment on patients treatment which was reasonable and medically necessary. 
  • Developed and provided legal representation to the hospital in Court at the Administrative Law Judge level.
